Bentonite Composite
Barrier Bento is a geocomposite designed to act as a barrier, made by sandwiching prehydrated natural sodium bentonite between two geotextile layers. The composite contains 4 kg/sq.m of bentonite) and the textiles used to enclose the bulk material are available in different weights and combinations.
Normally a PP woven textile with a mass of 100 g/sq.m and a PP nonwoven textile with a mass of 200 g/sq.m are used. Used in applications like landfills and contaminated sites.
